Blood Orange Elderflower Cocktail
How cool are these glasses? Dave's Aunt Vicki gifted them to us, the map is of Akron, Ohio where we first met. They are from a company called the Uncommon Green and there are so many different map/glass options to choose from. Our set contained two pint glasses and two stemless wine glasses. They're just so fun and a cool reminder of where we met. This cocktail was initially made with gin, but I've always preferred vodka. I love St. Germain (elderflower liquor) and blood oranges.
Dave and I both thought that this ended up being pretty tasty, all of the ingredients went together really well. It was light and refreshing in a way that was appropriate for winter, it wasn't something that had me reminiscing for summer, but was a nice stand alone winter cocktail.
