2020 CSA Recipes



Like many things in 2020 our CSA experience with Birdsong Farm looked a little different this year. Our farmer offered monthly shares in addition to the full experience. Since we thought we would spend a lot more of the summer away from home, we opted for August and September only. The nine shares were a perfect way to supplement our limited food shopping and we always love visiting the Haymaker Farmers' Market in Kent. Below are some new recipes we tried utilizing our CSA ingredients -- everything else either made its way into a favorite recipe which was repeated from another year or into a more simple preparation. The Eggplant Parmesan Casserole and Quinoa Caprese Salad were the recipes we made the most frequently this summer and we continued purchasing Japanese Eggplants from Matt after we stopped receiving them in our shares.
