Holiday Bark

I made this holiday bark for a party we hosted last weekend, but it made quite a bit so Dave's coworkers got to taste test it as well. It was a hit all around and incredibly easy to make. I'll be making it again for some events next week.

Recipe from Nabisco.

Ingredients:
-12 ounces white chocolate candy melting wafers
-12 whole graham crackers
-1/2 cup dried cranberries
-1/2 cup shelled pistachios
-1/2 cup chocolate chips

Place the graham crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You'll want the sides of the graham crackers to touch. Pour the melting wafers into a medium microwave-safe bowl. Heat for one minute at 50% power, then stir. Continue to heat at 30 second intervals at 50% power until melted, stirring well each time. Pour the melted white chocolate over the graham crackers and spread to cover. Sprinkle with the dried cranberries and pistachios.

Add the chocolate chips to a small microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds at 50% power, then stir. Continue to heat at 15 second intervals at 50% power until melted, stirring well in between. Pour the melted chocolate into a small zipper bag. Snip a small piece from the corner of the bag. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the bark.

Allow the bark to cool and then break into pieces.

This hit all of the right flavor notes the chocolate makes this sweet, the cranberries add a tart flavor and the pistachios are salty. The graham cracker and pistachios also add a nice crunch as well. It's easy to divide this up into large or small pieces depending on how many people you want to serve.
