Avocado Hummus

When I saw this recipe from The Lovely Cupboard I knew I had to make it. Hummus is great and so is avocado, so it just makes sense to combine them.

Ingredients:
-avocado
-lime
-1 can white kidney beans
-cayenne pepper
-salt

Cut up the avocado and combine with the beans.
Add just a pinch of cayenne and salt, and juice from half the lime.
Blend.

I served this with pretzel crisps like the original blog suggested and it was a good choice. I also cut up the other half of the lime and used it as garnish in the dip. This recipe used kidney beans instead of chickpeas like hummus usually has, but it still tasted a lot like hummus. This is something good to serve at a party, it was really easy to make and since it is such an unusually combination everyone will want to try it.
