Breakfast Pizza
This recipe is the perfect weeknight dinner. J declared this the easiest blog that I've ever made. You can find the original here.
Ingredients:
-1 homemade or store-bought pizza dough
-1 cup grated Parmesan
-1 cups grated mozzarella
-3-4 eggs
-Green peppers, other additional toppings
-salt and pepper
-2 tablespoons minced chives
-olive oil, for brushing
We used a prepared crust, but you can use whatever kind you like. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Add peppers and other toppings. |
Crack as many eggs as desired onto the pizza. Brush exposed crust with olive oil. |
Bake. The original post suggested 8-10 minutes at 500. We cooked ours for about 18 minutes at 425. |
Top with chives. |
Slice and serve. |
This got mixed reviews between J and I. He didn't love it and wished that it had some sort of a sauce, I really, really liked it. This was so easy to make and I thought the flavors blended well together. This would have been really good with garlic butter sauce. I think this is going to become standard in our weekly dinner rotation because it was incredibly easy to make and the ingredients weren't expensive.
