Wine Grapes
This is an incredibly easy recipe, it's so easy to make that I even hesitate to call it a recipe, but I think it is something great to share because it isn't a usual snack or drink.
I saw several other examples online, but none of them specified the proportions, I just used enough grapes that I knew 3 people would eat, and used enough wine to cover them, and enough sugar to roll them.
Ingredients:
-grapes
-sweet white wine
-sugar
I used a toothpick to poke holes in the grapes, then put them in a tupperware with enough wine to cover them. I let the grapes soak in the wine overnight. The next day, I put sugar on a plate and rolled the soaked grapes, and then added a little more sugar to the top when they were all in a bowl.
This is amazing. But should I avoid the sugar if I am dieting?
ReplyDeleteIt depends on what kind of dieting you're doing. The added sugar will certainly add extra calories. You could use Truvia or another sweetner in place of the sugar if you'd like!
