Red, White and Blue Fruit Platter
It's almost the 4th of July! This is my first summer of not waitressing and I am pumped to be able to enjoy all holidays with my friends and family. The 4th of July was always super busy where I was a waitress because kids ate for free. This year because I have a government job as well as a job through my grad school I will have the entire day off to enjoy time with everyone.
Inspired by Schmittastic.
Ingredients:
-Blueberries
-Strawberries, halved
-Mini white chocolate covered pretzels.
On a wax paper lined cookie sheet form the ingredients into a flag.

I really enjoyed this because it was so easy to make and I could see it being super popular at a party. A lot of 4th of July recipes are straight-up sugary desserts with this one you could choose to just eat the fruit or to add a little bit more sugar with a white chocolate covered pretzel.
