Broiled Grapefruit

As usual I posted this recipe on Pinterest a while ago and decided to check it out this morning because I had a lot of homework to get done and really need something quick and easy for breakfast.

Ingredients:
-1 Grapefruit
-Sugar


Set your broiler.



I was nervous about trying a warm grapefruit so I only made half, but feel free to make the whole grapefruit! 

Top with sugar -- I used white granulated sugar, but you could also use brown sugar.
Broil for 5-8 minutes. Then allow the fruit to cool for a few minutes before eating.

Enjoy.

I was a little nervous about eating the warm grapefruit, but I think broiling the grapefruit brought out a more mellow flavor than just eating it chilled.
